Laurenne Ajayi, Project Manager

Laurenne joined The Research Base in March 2019 from a career in the third sector. She was previously the Head of Operations for an international organisation delivering education and teacher training projects in Rwanda, and is currently a trustee for the Tea Leaf Trust, an iNGO supporting the development of locally-led education projects in Sri Lanka.

She has a LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Sussex (Distinction), in which she won prizes for high achievement as well as for her thesis, and a BA in English Literature from the University of Reading.

She has a keen interest in international development and human rights, particularly in the space between policy and implementation.
