As a Market Research Society (MRS) accredited research consultancy, we adhere strictly to the Market Research Society's Code of Conduct.

All our qualitative researchers have enhanced DBS clearance in case of working with children and vulnerable adults. We also have a data protection policy and work in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

At the Research Base, we believe that good project management and rigorous quality assurance are what make our business successful.  We build strong relationships with our clients, meet our deadlines and - most importantly - produce research which our clients value and use.

All our Directors and Research Managers are accredited PRINCE2 practitioners. We use these project management techniques to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to budget and to specification. We also use the PRINCE2 methodology to assure the quality of all our research projects, and to ensure that products meet the specified brief. This is supplemented by careful project planning, regular quality checks by the Research Director and rigorous management of risk. On in-depth academic projects, we adopt a ‘peer review’ process by appointing subject experts to a Quality Board.
